When the devil came into the garden of Eden, he did not bother with anything else but the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He did not attack Adam, he did not attack Eve, but he attacked their tree. He spoke negative about their tree, and when he spoke that negativity and they hearkened to it, they lost everything. As soon as Adam and Eve’s tree came under attack they lost everything that was coming easy to them and they were chucked out of the garden of Eden. The ground that used to yield abundantly to them, now produced thorns and thistles (Gen 3:18).
Have you ever wondered why good people die prematurely or why good people seem to have their careers, marriages, ministry, life or relationships cut short? For some reason, those who seem to look or feel righteous find themselves losing everything they have; experiencing premature death in their business, work, health, marriage, and relationships. Why is it that those who feel more righteous lose more yet those that seem no good at all live long to see another day? Could it be that sometimes we can become so “righteous” until it turns into pride?
Many times, people dream dreams only to wake up and not remember them. Others dream dreams which are completely contrary to the destiny that God has for them. Both of these have serious consequences to them. God uses dreams to communicate, to give instruction, to warn against upending danger. But when your dreams are blocked and you can’t remember them, you miss out on those instructions and warnings. You miss out on what God is trying to speak to you.
